Bill: Bill NLA-77 Censorship Liberalization Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Progressive Democratic Alliance
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2221
Description[?]:
We have no right to dictate and regulate what the individual can and can't watch or broadcast on the free, public forum by choice of all parties involved. It is important that we allow open expression and discourse (unless, of course, individuals are harmed or forced in any way) and if you have problems with some of this expression, you will have free expression to protest against it. This is necessary for any truly free, modern democracy. As well, it is odd that all forms of violence are allowed to be broadcast all day long but sexually explicit content, which is more constructive, is not allowed to be shown. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The time at which sexually explicit content may be shown on broadcast television (if allowed).
Old value:: Sexually explicit content or nudity may only be shown during hours that very few children watch television
Current: Sexually explicit content or nudity may only be shown during hours that very few children watch television
Proposed: Sexually explicit content may be shown all day long.
