With the passing of this bill, the following articles of the Tullian Law on the Senate (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=638481) are amended as follows: ππΏππΆπ°πΉπ² πππ: Senators serve for life. Nobody can refuse appointment to the Senate, but they can be removed from the Senate by a qualified majority of 2/3 of the People's Assembly after a judicial rule, or if the individual is diagnosed with specific illnesses. Only Selucian citizens over the age of 40 may be appointed to the Senate. ππ«ππ’ππ₯π π. No leader of any of the main religious denominations practiced in Selucia shall be appointed to the Senate. Exceptionally, new members may be appointed to the Senate at the advice of the Consuls and with the consent of the Senate. |
