Description[?]:
President (?) I want to congratulate with you and the FCN for the electoral result. We have always disagreed on many aspects, one of these being my personal insistence in the absence of external threats on the international scene for our democratic system, at least on the military level. Unfortunately this is not the truth anymore: many fascist and anti-democratic forces are taking control of some countries in our continent. If we want to guarantee our security, we cannot ignore the threat posed by the Pontesian dictatorship. War should be the last resort, before we get to that we must be sure to have used all instruments necessary to isolate the fascist regimes and to try to make them harmless. For this reason we ask the National aassembly to chose what to stand for, democracy or totalitarism, by: 1. Publicly condemn the Pontesian regime and its actions, and requesting the government to do the same 2. Requesting the government to appointment a representative to the General Assembly of the Majatran Security Organization 3. Freezing of any bank account in Istalia that belongs to a senior official associated with the Pontesian government. 4. Immediate interruption of the connections by sea and air with the neighboring nation, with the exception of refugees from Pontesi and Solentia. 5. Entry into force of an economic embargo on the nation of Pontesi, with the prohibition of Istalian companies and businesses from selling any type of merchandise to large Pontesian companies, with the exception of small businesses and businesses present in the neighboring nation. 6. Immediate interruption of any type of commercial treaty between both nations, especially those that refer to permits for Pontesian fishing vessels to fish in Istalian waters. 7. Expulsion of the diplomatic corps of Pontesi from the Istalian territory. Mauree Tagoe |

Message | Mr speaker, The Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs met in the early hours to discuss this. The government stands by it's non-interventionist policy. We inform the opposition and the public that the government appointed Andreina Iadanza as the representative to the Majatara Security Council. We do realize the threat of Pontusia to many of our Majataran neighbours, however we must realize that it does not pose direct threat to our country. We will apply only some of the proposed sanctions; -Publicly condemning the actions of the Pontesian regime. -Freezing of any bank account in Istalia that belongs to a senior official associated with the Pontesian government. -Expulsion of the diplomatic corps of Pontesi from the Istalian territory. The Foreign Ministry currently does not reccomend economic sanctions on Pontusia. Please contact us for further detailes. Daniele Mancini, Foreign Minister of Istalia |
