| Dear President of the Assembly [? FCN has not appointed it yet] We are deeply disappointed by the way Istalia has dealt with the Pontesi Crisi. We are sorry for the people of Pontesi. Jelbic-speaking and Selucian-speaking Pontesians, as well as non-religious, felinist, eudi, pagan and ahmadi Pontesians are forced to flee their country, and the Majatran Security Organisation could do nothing to protect them from losing their jobs, homes and everything they had. Istalia refused to take Pontesian refugees, that are currently being taken in Al-Badara. We don't understand the reason behind this and we insist for an equal distribution of them between major Majatran nations: Deltaria, Selucia, Badara AND Istalia. Pontesian people are not that culturally different from Istalian people and for this reason we believe Istalia can offer a safe shelter for those people. I ask the Ministry of Foreign affairs to let us know an estimate of how many people are going to be expelled from Pontesi, as the region of Padagna is offering to host most of our fair 25% in our region, or all of them if no other region offers a safe shelter for those peoples. We also ask for less restrictive legislation, in order to help our sisters and brothers from Solentia who are also persecuted by the current anti-democratic government. We also ask to soften the laws on conscientious objectors, we understand that Padagnan people, both ahmadis and hosians, are well known for their religiousness, but we cannot explain why so many of our citizens declare to be conscientious objectors on religious ground. We therefore ask why is it allowed to be exempted for religious reasons only? Does the government need to somehow prove that religion in the only form of morality? Does the government want to prove that istalians are religiously fanatic? We also know that Milona is a gay-friendly city, but we think that so many people declaring themselves as homosexual is only due to the fact that homosexual/bisexual people are exempted from the military. Does the government want to discriminate heterosexual people? We ask the assembly to change the law in order to accept all moral reasons, so that istalians wouldn't be forced to lie if they don't want to lose one year of study and/or work in order to "serve the nation" in times where the Pontesian dictatorship in not a military threat anymore Art.1. One fourth of Pontesian refugees are going to be sheltered in Milona and surrounding Padagna region, or also on other regions if regional governors decide to help Padagnan efforts Art.2. Restrictions on refugee protections are lowered to help Solentian refugees. Art.3. Conscentious objectors can be exemted for any moral reason. | Message | Mr. Speaker, We will share all information gathered to the opposition. This is an estimate from the Badaran government. They evacuated 100,000 people from Pontesi. -1000 of them were Ahmadis, most of them will stay in Badara. -18000 were Selucian many of them had been transporta to Selucia. -20000 were Yeudi, about 6000 stayed in Badara and half of the remaining people went to Canrille. Yingdala, Seko and Kalistan. -61000 were Pontesi political dissidents, some of them stayed here and there, many of them had family ties around Terra, but most of them opted to Kundrati, Kalistan, Selucia and some of them went to Trigunia. These are the estimates and sadly we do not have information about the remainig people. We have been choose to be one of the three representative from the MSO to talk with Pontesi in a conference alongside with Selucia and Deltaria. | Message | Mr. Mancini, Apparently there are 7,000 Yeudis who need a safe shelter, therefore we ask what are the reasons why the government do not want to allow their allocation to Padagna, given the fact that 7,000 people are not much compared to a region that has almost 30,000,000 inhabitants (4,286 times the number of refugees). We also ask if queer Pontesians are counted in the 61,000 political dissident, as they should also be counted as a persecuted category of Pontesians and therefore need international protection and relocation.
