Message | A more than reasonable set of proposals! |
Date | 22:07:23, February 26, 2021 CET | From | Fête du chat | To | Debating the Changes to Legislation Missed By Previous Legislation |
Message | The Fête Du Chat mainly agree with these proposals and think that they will advance our society further in the direction of democratic socalism, however we do have some disagreements. Firstly we don't think it is wise to grant anyone nationality without an exam, this could easily lead to many people who have little to do with Kanjor having a major influence on the country. We instead propose that we reform the citizen test and other immigration systems to make acquiring citizenship easier for people genuinely interested in settling, using the recently agreed to ID section of a bill. Finally we stand fully against the measure to allow conscious objectors exemption from military service, we cannot allow our military to become weak and unprepared for war and do not think this lousy excuse should stop citizens from doing their duty. |
