OOC: This act of the Imperial Senate will “modernize” the titles while recognizing the historical importance of previous titles. Article 1 - This act of the Imperial Senate formally establishes the representation of the “Imperial Government”; Article 2 - Each cabinet-level office of the Imperial Government will be known as a “Department”, at its head will be an appointed “Secretary”. Beneath the appointed “Secretary” will be an immediate Deputy Secretary, underneath them any number of Under Secretaries, Deputy Under Secretaries, Assistant Secretary and then appointed Directors; Article 3 - The current designation for cabinet-level offices includes: Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Defense, Department of Finance, Department of Justice, Department of Internal Affairs, Department of Infrastructure and Transport, Department of Health and Social Services, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Education and Culture, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Food and Agriculture and Department of Environment and Tourism; Article 4 - Each appointed Secretary will have authority to manage, organize or alter the structure of their respective departments as necessary. |
