Message | If we let every country establish an embassy we are more likely to develop better and more lasting relationships. This bill subjects foreign nations to the opinions of a Foreign Office, who may be biased for any number of reasons. |

Message | But seeing as how the Foriegn Office is part of the government, it is their decision as to who they want good relations with. |
Date | 14:30:47, May 05, 2006 CET | From | New Theta | To | Debating the Foreign Embassies Bill |
Message | We should welcome all communications with foreign nations, not welcome them on "our terms" only. That does not promote international harmony or good relations. |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
