MessageThe role of the state should be to regulate and facilitate access to services rather than providing them themselves. The private sector (charities etc. as well as 'businesses') can provide much more investment to improve education in Telamon. The government should simply regulate this to ensure that it reaches national standards and to ensure that those from poorer families are not disadvantaged, by paying for the education of those from low income families (OOC: for far more coherent expressions of my views go back through the legislative history!)

Random fact: There are two countries based on Egypt in the game. Cobura is based on modern Egypt with a retro twist, while Hawu Mumenhes is based on Ancient Egypt with a modernist twist.

Random quote: "I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers." - Martin Luther King Jr.
