In accordance with section 7 of the Game Rules (http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8088&p=145763#p145764), Dorvik is a "culturally protected" country. Below is the cultural protocol which all players in the country must abide. Throughout the document, the real-life equivalent is shown in brackets next to the in-game name.

The previous cultural protocol can be found here: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=622571

--OVERVIEW--

--ETHNIC GROUPS--

The majority of the Dorvish population identifies as ethnically Dundorfian (German) however this identity is expressed in various different ways. Dorvish (Prussian German) people represent the largest group and have much in common with most other Dundorfian (German) people culturally. Lorman (Germanised Prussian) people still consider themselves Dundorfian (German) but their culture and language retains Kerisian (Baltic) influences due to their historic connections to the region. Largonian (Luxembourgish) people identify separately but share significant culture with other Dundorfian (German) people.

» Dundorfian (German)- 96%
⠀⠀-- Dorvish (Prussian German)- 49%
⠀⠀-- Lorman (Germanised Prussian)- 37%
⠀⠀-- Largonian (Luxembourgish)- 2%
⠀⠀-- Other- 8%
» Other- 4%

--RELIGION--

» Hosianism (Christianity)- 89%
⠀⠀-- Independent Confessional Church of Dorvik (High Church Lutheran)- 58%
⠀⠀-- Aurorian Patriarchal Church (Roman Catholic)- 23%
⠀⠀-- Ameliorate (Calvinist)- 5%
⠀⠀-- Other- 3%
» No religion- 9%
» Other- 2%

--LANGUAGE--

The majority of the population, including most Lorman (Germanised Prussian) people, speak Dundorfian (German) and this is the primary, official language used throughout the country. Due to its historic status, Lorman (Old Prussian) remains a recognised language despite being spoken by only a small minority of the Lorman (Germanised Prussian) people.
