Following the Popular Front's sweeping victories in local duchy elections, Middenriding Popular Front MPs immediately passed a bill repealing the unpopular reforms introduced by the outgoing far-right government. The Popular Front had extensively campaigned on this issue, and it is believed to have played a part in their large victory in Middenriding. The full text of the bill is as follows: Repeal of Far-right reforms Enacted in 4918 Article I: The use of ethnic-profiling by law enforcement agencies or law enforcement officials is prohibited Article II: Educational standards and curriculum are to follow national guidelines Article III: The display of flags or banners is legal so long as they do not depict hate symbols as recognized by the national government Article IV: The use of lethal force to protect property is prohibited |
