| The growers of Kalistan have been affected by the ODEN treaty for long. The need for the ODEN seal to export products internationally has a bad effect on Marijuana growers with low quality equipment, or otherwise less good products than the national giants. The Grower's Party hopes to make a change to this by making the following amendment to the ODEN treaty: "Only the highest quality products, which receive the official ODEN seal, may be sold internationally, with the exception of marijuana and tobacco products, which do not require the ODEN seal to be sold internationally" old value "Only the highest quality products, which receive the official ODEN seal, may be sold internationally" 420 thinks that Marijuana and Tobacco products are not in danger of causing any further harm based on quality, so they should be exempted from the ODEN seal requirement. | Message | We are not sure where there is evidence that our farmers use substandard equiptment or produce substandard product. Our concern is that are we are the leading supplier of cannabis, and we reserve only the best for export, we will immediately lose a large portion of our sales. I would argue that we should reserve the best for domestic consumption, but the ODEN treaty sets high standards in the first place. So perhaps some more discussion on this might be beneficial. |
