MessageOur citizens have every right to determine, our their own, at what age they should retire. There should be no restriction on their right to work.

MessageThat is why I put it at 60 first. 60 is the age most people would like to retire. I'll put it back.

MessageThe problem with this bill is that we have no legislation on public service pensions... i will go and propose some, then the age at which people retire WILL be the governments business.

MessageWho the hell are we to tell people when to retire? Many women who stay at home during the child's early years need to work later into life for finacial security.

Further, many workers at the age of 60-68 are very able to work in a lot of cases. We shoudn't dictate when people must retire. This is an infringement upon their rights.

MessageI think it is wrong to force people to stop working at a particular age. The only reason such an age is necessary is when there are state pensions, and this is the youngest age at which people are allowed to claim them.

MessageWe should include a clause that says if they work past the age, they cna't claim the pension until they have tretired.

MessageIf this was to go through it would give employers the idea to fire people once they reach this age this is unacceptable.
