Message | Mr. Speaker, Why does the government see the need to surpress a political group which hasn't existed in the nation for years? There hasn't been left-wing parties in government, or even in the diet in ages, so why is the government then actively silencing "leftists" which do not even exist? Is it all just an elaborate scheme to get rid of anyone trying to oppose the government, like Father Keeper did? Father Herbert Reed, New Luthorian Church, ULHC |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Guards, please remove Mr. Reed from the questioning. This event has no place for sympathizers with fraudsters. Please apologize my colleague's manners. I'd like to remove that question from the written record. The Union of Luthorian Hosian Churches takes a hard stance concerning the actions of Mr. Keeper Our question to the Paglesham Ministry will actually be concerning Mr. Keeper. What is the government going to do about Mr. Keeper's alleged fraud? I would expect harsh punishment against this kind of behaviour, and even to the sympathizers like Mr. Reed over here. So, how will the government make sure that this kind of fraud, or whatever you would like to call it never happens again? Message | Mr. Speaker, Let me begin by stating that I greatly appreciate the honourable gentleman's question. Although it has taken some time, with the coroner's report into the circumstances of the false prophet's death due out sometime in November or December, we are hoping for the trial of Mr Keeper to begin some time in the new year 4972. We must demonstrate that lies which maliciously exploit the powerful faith of the Luthorian people will be punished with the severity they deserve. Message | Mr Speaker, In the recent budget, the government decreased the health budget by 4 billion. The health of Luthorians should, theoretically, be a priority of any elected government, however this cut makes that appear untrue. Why has the government cut the health budget by quite so much, and do they really care about the health of our people? Lawrence Moore Monarchist Tory Party Health Spokesperson |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I will remind the honourable gentleman that the category to which he refers is not solely the health budget; it is also the state pensions and welfare budget. With the devolution of healthcare, almsgiving, and workhouses to the duchies, we were running a considerable surplus, with most of that budget now consisting of funds we are providing to the duchies. If the honourable gentleman considers the budgets raised by each of the five duchies from their own taxation in addition to the subsidies we are providing, he will no doubt find that funding for healthcare has gone up in real terms over the past few years. Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
