MessageMr. Speaker,

While the advantages you speak of are true, before we vote on this bill, I must ask what is the solution to the nuclear waste that is produced in the process?

MessageMr Speaker,

I believe that it is possible to reuse nuclear waste a number of times, as the potential energy within the fuel is not all released upon first use. Once the substance has been used, nuclear waste can be stored in safe, sealed locations in wastelands. Low-level waste can be stored at nuclear facilities until it becomes safe enough to treat as regular waste.
