Article 1. The Imperial Diet hereby appropriates 150,000,000 LPD for the Strategic Farming Initiative, to be administered by the Ministry of Food & Agriculture.

Article 2. The Strategic Farming Initiative shall encompass the following activities:
A. Subsidization of strategically important crops.
B. Research and development of new crops or cultivars that may stimulate Luthorian agriculture.
C. The purchase of innovative farming equipment for use by small farmers.

Article 3. The Strategic Farming Initiative is to expire by January 4980, unless extended by the Diet.
