Message | I cannot and will not vote for the ushering in of theocracy. Church should not govern, and governments should not preach. It is an insult to the intelligence of the populace to tell them who they will or will not worship and it is an insult to freedom of religion and thought. You can tell me who to worship as I long as I can tell you what to eat. |

Message | "ushering in of theocracy" ? Old value:: All schools are required to be religious in nature. Proposed: Any religion may set up a school, with no regulations. Old value:: Teacher-led prayers in schools are encouraged. Proposed: The government leaves this decision up to the schools themselves. Old value:: There is an official state religion, and membership is mandatory. Proposed: There is no government policy concerning a state religion. How about I tell you which school to study at so you learn to read that this bill is OPPOSING theocracy. It's an insult to your intelligence that you make such scathing remarks about an intent that is the EXACT OPPOSITE of the one present. You'll notice the Bastards are also secular. Perhaps you should take the game tutorial. |

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current. |
