Agreed upon by the members of the DP at the November conference, where progressive domination was made clear to the conservative (MTP) wing. The Democrats wish to pass this legislation in all duchies: The government introduces, and actively enforces, food standards provisions. The government approves and regulates agricultural chemical use. The government has some involvement in the ownership and operation of airports, but leaves a role for the private sector too. |

Old value:: Citizenship is granted based on race/religion/gender.
Current: Citizenship is granted to all nationals.
Proposed: Citizenship is gained by passing a qualifying exam.
Article 2

Old value:: The death penalty is applied for capital crimes.
Current: The death penalty is illegal and is never to be applied.
Proposed: The death penalty is not applied, except for terrorism, treason and crimes against mankind.

Old value:: Energy is provided by nationalised companies.
Current: Energy provision is left to local governments.
Proposed: Energy is provided by private companies but the prices they can charge are regulated.

Current: Homosexuality is allowed in the military.
