Message"The current legislation is archaic and impedes freedom of choice for our citizens.
If we allow people to follow various religions, then it is hypocritical to stop believers in pacifism living by their convictions." I like peace too. However, sitting on your butt while your home is being attacked is not smart.

The current policy only forces people to join in times of war.

War is an option. Not always a good option. Certainly not the first option. But an option none the less.

I would like no draft, but if the country needs you and you do stand for your country, you will help protect.

MessageWe feel that the FCP's argument was essentially self-defeated after making the admission that "war is an option".

MessageIt is an option.

Actually, you may be right. If our country is attacked, it is not an Option. We MUST fight. Or should we keep the peace by giving up our land and people?

Messageyes! exactly it IS an option. yet the FCP goes on to say "if the country needs you"...you must go. Doesn't seem fair that warmongerers get the choice of whether to go to war or not, but the citizens get no choice in being dragged along.

MessageWell, as you said before, I am here because the people elected me. Am I not an acurate representation of many people?

"Current: All adults upon completion of schooling can be required in times of war to serve a term in the military." They CAN be required. I think we would not go to war Voluntarily if it forced us to implement the draft. The current law gives us the option; they do not Have to be drafted.

Messagebut if they ARE drafted then they DO have to go. it's a politically correct facade of freedom, one of many.

MessageWe disagree,
we feel that if our numbers(military) are low (god forbid) then we must look to our other options which is a draft, now we all may not like it (i know we dont really) but relying on pure patriotism may not hold us.

(of note) JELBANIA WILL NEVER FALL.

MessageFor future reference, we would like to just remind the FCP of its first response - "sitting on your butt while your home is being attacked is not smart" -It is a cheap remark that undermines a percentage of our demographic that is almost certainly more numerous than that of Christians, yet somehow it is acceptable to make such remarks against these believers whilst the FCP gets hysterical about honest criticism of certain religions.
