Liberal Proposals: -All candidates receive public funds, and can still accept donations. -Prisoners of war must be treated well, according to internationally-accepted standards. -The government subsidises a considerable discount for contraceptives. -Only adults may purchase tobacco. -The government has no policy on cryptocurrency -Tax percentage of the profit made by corporations decreased to 25%. -Sales tax on luxury goods decreased to 20%. -Monopolies are only forbidden in specific sectors of the economy. -Prostitution is legal and a recognized profession. -Extradition to nations with capital punishment is not allowed, unless there are assurances that the death penalty will not be imposed. -Torture is never allowed. -There is a National Curriculum which all government schools are obliged to follow; non-government schools are fully exempt. Subsidies to private schools will be given based on student performance. -Sexually explicit material is allowed, but violent or hard core pornography is banned. -The government gives monetary grants to organizations which have established or are looking to establish museums. -Only zoos or zoological institutions are allowed to keep exotic animals. -Commercial whaling is legal, but the government establishes whaling quotas -Adultery is legal. -All sexually implicit actions are illegal in public. -Private power stations provide energy for the entire power grid -The state has the right to veto the appointment of any ministers of religion. We want to know what the proposals of the other parties are and what proposals our colleagues agree with. |
