Description[?]:

Young Shieldwall backbencher Richard Kerrison, who first came to prominence four years ago (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=651254), has released a book titled The Liberal Plan for Luthori, which has already sold over a million copies. Kerrison claims that his book is "the real Liberal manifesto", looking at not just the party's own proposals but also those of aligned pressure groups.

"A small group of ultra-progressive Ethelsley academics have, led by Angela Ashworth, taken control of the Liberal party. Their ultra-progressive agenda has been decisively rejected by the voters, and the party must now ask itself what it really represents and what it should represent," said Kerrison to reporters at a book signing.

The book says that an Ashworth government would:
- ban adoption by heterosexual married couples as a form of 'affirmative action'.
- legalise abortion right up to the moment of birth.
- legalise all recreational drugs.
- privatise the Bank of Luthori.
- legalise child labour.
- institute a 10% sales tax on essential goods to pay for tax cuts for the richest 5% and the elimination of the sales tax on luxury goods.
- require churches to allow same-sex marriage.
- end the salary cap.
- repeal the minimum wage.
- legalise all forms of pornography for everyone.
- legalise the production of pornography.
- introduce mandatory quotas in hiring.
- legalise prostitution.
- end the death penalty.
- end prisoner labour.
- ban corporal punishment in schools.
- require students to undergo pro-Liberal 'political training' lessons.
- ban the singing of the national anthem in schools.
- introduce mandatory, eye-wateringly explicit sexual education.
- end all restrictions on the internet.
- allow all sexually explicit material on television, all day long.
- relegalise animal testing of cosmetic products.
- introduce the most restrictive 'pollution' regulations in the world.
- destroy the economy to stop non-existent climate change.
- end farmers' subsidies.
- ban fishing.
- legalise bestiality.
- legalise incest.
- legalise no-fault, immediate divorce.
- repeal laws against desecrating the national flag.
- recognise all foreign marriages.
- legalise public nudity.
- legalise public sex.
- require a test for would-be parents, with mandatory abortions for couples who fail it.
- impose a one-child limit.
- end special protections for women in work.
- allow all refugees.
- end all border controls.
- require 5% of GDP to be given as foreign aid.
- end child benefit.
- legalise blasphemy.
- tax the Holy Luthorian Church.
- ban the wearing of religious symbols in public.
- ban religious schools and prayer.
- promote atheism in schools.

Many of these have not even been suggested outside Kerrison's book, but that has done nothing to stop the book's rapidly-growing popularity.
