Message | The people have spoken and have provided the left-wing parties a larger majority than before. A governing coalition cannot be formed without one of the three left-wing parties joining the right-wingers. This Cabinet is made up of socially and economically progressive parties that have saved Beluzia from the disasters of the right for years and will continue to do so. Not only have the left-wingers taken a majority in Parliament, but a left-winger has been re-elected to the presidency, re-emphasizing that the people of Beluzia desire the dominance of left-wing parties. |

Message | My party believes that the Social Federal patty shouldn’t be the one proposing a cabinet but it should be the Unsubmissive Beluzian Workers Party that proposes a new cabinet since they have won the presidency and the most seats in the legislature. |

Message | This is all just a trick to have a cabinet that will ruin what the richtists fixed. |

Message | We agree with the Liberals for the first and last time since they are the president |

Message | Also Socialists we are the 2nd largest party and gained a few seats, and we are a right wing party, therefore we must be part of the coalition. |

Message | How are we supposed to make a functioning cabinet when we can't even agree on who can be in the cabinet this country is dying, we are politically tearing apart and it's sad. |

Message | Just because you have a large number of seats does not mean that you are automatically part of the coalition. What would you have us do if we, the leftists, were forced to work with fascists like the BPP? Fascism and democracy do not mix. |

Message | OOC: Can we stop using labels that can mean all kinds of things to describe one another? No offence, but I feel like I'm playing a game with a bunch of Americans who only belittle and label people certain things without having a rational, informed debate about things. I've worked with the Liberal Party in the past, and they have been good coalition partners. but this stuff about right wing, fascist doesn't make sense to me because just because someone has economically liberal policies doesn't make them right wing. Right wing economics is basically libertarian capitalism and a far cry from liberal economics. Fascist has all kinds of connotations so it would be great if we don't use it to describe people we might agree with on some things and disagree on others. Unless they're really racially, socially ignorant and discriminatory, then we can call them fascists. And also can we stop throwing around the label of socialism as if it were some kind of big baddy because socialism is not one ideology, there are multiple variants and not all are what people think 'socialism' is, that is Stalinism, Maoism and all that autocratic bullshit. The number of times I have had to tell people that socialism is not Stalinism and Maoism pisses me off greatly so it would be great if people read up on what socialism actually is and also its variants before labelling one another. And with regards to the Cabinet, at this point I don't know whether I want to partner with anyone because you are all arguing amongst yourselves over topics (ideologies, who is lazier: poor people or rich people) which really don't have any relevance to putting out legislation. Furthermore there are parties who debate simplistically and generalise their arguments without any facts to back arguments up so that to me does not warrant competence in putting out govt legislation. Additionally, just because one is the second largest party and you've gained seats does not mean you are automatically part of a coalition unless a party approaches you or you have already made a decision prior to the election to work with a certain party. For example, just because the CDU in Germany became the second largest party in the recent election didn't mean that the SPD decided to work with them because the SPD already made clear that they were not going to continue the grand coalition with them. Real life politics is not simply about this party has the most seats, so they should have a place in Cabinet, there's other considerations such as whether parties are compatible, whether there are laws that parties can agree on while disagreeing on others etc. I know what I have said sounds harsh, but if you guys could sort yourselves out and not constantly argue over irrelevant things and come to some sort of arrangement then that would be great. I hope that you will take heed of what I have said. Thanks |

Message | OOC: Furthermore, I've been playing this game for more than 5 years, longer than most of you, so if you guys have any concerns, questions etc you can always talk to me. |

Message | OOC: Why are people making the situation worse by putting out messages to the nation that only antagonise people more. Like is everything I have said just trash |

Message | I hate to admit it but the UBWP is right, unless we can arrange and sort out our differences instead of arguing it would be amazing ive tried to message some of you about these issues and sort out differences and i will continue doing that. |
Date | 17:34:10, December 05, 2021 CET | From | Unsubmissive Beluzian Workers Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of October 5038 |
Message | The UBWP will not be forming a coalition with any party until differences between the bickering parties can be resolved. For the time being, the UBWP will act as caretaker government until the current impasse is resolved. OOC: Furthermore, it would be great if parties do not use my decision as a starting point for irrational criticism, insults, name-calling and other negativities because at the end of the day, this is a game. And while this is a game, It is best if we be civil to one another and act like we're proper politicians rather than people who make a fuss about everything |
