Bill: OOC: Leaving Luthori for a while

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 5060

Description[?]:

I'm doing too much constant angling for electioneering and I keep winning elections, which gets boring after a while. I need a break from Luthori for a while, a rest to get my creative juices flowing. I'll be back before Christmas: please don't abolish the monarchy while I'm gone! At least not for a generic republic.

I'll clean up the bills I left, by the way. Sort of awkward timing, but oh well.

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law.

Random quote: Henceforth, the current system of first and second class stamps, where the rich can pay to have their mail delivered faster than the poor, shall be BANNED. There shall be only one class of mail delivery, and ALL mail shall travel at the SAME speed for EVERYBODY. There can be no class discrimination in the People's Post Office! There must be the SAME class of mail service FOR ALL! ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
