Description[?]:

Edmund Edmunds, the CEO of multi-industrial titan Edmunds & Co., today held a press conference at the corporation's headquarters. "That does it!" he told the reporters, holding up a copy of the Vanderburg Evening Standard with the headline "PRESIDENT-FOR-LIFE SPARKLER". "I'm tired of these communists. Many Rutanians have written to me demanding that I enter politics and put an end to this nonsense, and now I must reluctantly but with great preparation answer their calls. I have the key to solving this country's problems."

Reporters leaned forward, shouting to ask him what the key to solving the country's problems was.

"It's really very simple," said Edmunds. "Rutania needs to apply for admission as the sixth duchy of the Holy Luthorian Empire. I know their new emperor, I've met him many times, and he's a good man, a great man. We'd all be much better off under his rule than under that of presidents who have done nothing but run for office their whole lives."

"I have the business know-how to get a great deal and make it happen. I expanded Edmunds & Co. from just yet another company in the fishing trade into the undisputed king of the industry, but I didn't just stop there, I expanded into other industries too. And I kept expanding. And now I'm the richest man in the country. So I know a thing or two about getting things done... And that's why I've decided I'm going to have to be the one to get Rutania into Luthori. I am forming a new party, the Unionist Party, which will fight for the fishermen neglected by our government, for the pensioners left impoverished, and for union with Luthori."

MessageYou know nothing about our party. Our party is a revolutionary fighting party for freedom and equality. We have fought capitalist, fascists, conservatives and all these is one team and never won. Now is our chance! People of Rutania! Hold your fists up for freedom!

MessageYou just tried to install yourself as president-for-life and stop the opposition from ever forming a government again! You can't seriously claim to be fighting for freedom.

OOC: The bill was deleted by Moderation for breaking the game rules.

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that.
