Message | If, or when this bill fails, we would like to hear what it would take for the Liberal Party to actually support the abolishment of the monarchy. Naturally, one would assume a party such as theirs would be against the whole idea of a monarchy, we would be interested to see their actual stance. Message | Mr. Williams, The Liberal Party is indeed in favor of the abolition of the monarchy but not the nobility. Furthermore, we will not rely on the support of far-left parties to accomplish this goal. Angela Ashworth, MP. |
