MessageMr. Speaker,

We are against the abolition of nobility. Furthermore, we wouldn't like to displease our coalition partners.

MessageIf, or when this bill fails, we would like to hear what it would take for the Liberal Party to actually support the abolishment of the monarchy. Naturally, one would assume a party such as theirs would be against the whole idea of a monarchy, we would be interested to see their actual stance.

Alfred Williams,
Chairman of the UNWF Workers’ Council

MessageMr. Williams,

The Liberal Party is indeed in favor of the abolition of the monarchy but not the nobility.
Furthermore, we will not rely on the support of far-left parties to accomplish this goal.

Angela Ashworth, MP.
