Following the victory of the Liberal Party, Angela Ashworth started negotiating with the CHP and the PVPL in order to form a liberal coalition. Since the conservative still dominate the Diet, the conservative laws passed under Henry Thomas won't be repealed. Government program (for LP-CHP-LPVL coalition): Liberal proposals: -Remove the 50 and 60% tax brackets. -Foreign investors may freely invest in national companies. -No employee representation is required on corporate boards -The government has no stance on a salary ca -Recreational drugs sales are handled by private foundations which are heavily regulated by the government. -Teachers are forbidden from striking children and may only use non-contact discipline (detention, expulsion etc). -Schools have an obligation to give sexual education at some point in puberty, but individual students have an opt-out option. -Private companies provide internet service throughout the nation, without government interference. -The government allows the individual to decide on gender identity. -The salaries and pensions of ministers of religions shall be regulated by the law, but shall be borne by the religious communities themselves. -Decrease the defense budget to 31 billions Agrarian proposals: -The government subsidises agriculture based on market demand for the crop being grown. -Hunting and fishing is not regulated. -Forest protection is left to local governments. Veteran proposals: -Create a special fund for veteran and dedicated 3 billion LPD for this in our annual budget. That would mean a 3 billion increase in health and social services. Also, all the proposals by the opposition have to be rejected by our cabinet, except if it's part of our government program. That way, the opposition cannot pass bills and disrupt the work of our government. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT ALL THIS |

Message | We are happy the liberals want to form a coaliton with us and agree to accept most the proposals above, still we have the following issues: -We think the military is very important and want to keep spending in this resort at the same level. -Also we would like to increase Food and agriculture spending to 2,000,000,000. - Local governments determine food safety standards. - The government's policy towards hunting endangered animals: Local governments decide about this |
