Proposed: Teachers are forbidden from striking children and may only use non-contact discipline (detention, expulsion etc).

| Message | Since this was passed a year ago, four students have been beaten to death by frustrated teachers. A further sixteen are permanently disabled as a result of further incidents. Dozens of children are now permanently psychologically scarred, particularly those who witnessed the bludegeoning of little Timmy Sampson. As such, all the responsible teachers have been tried and found guilty under Pantian law and were summarily executed. Violent crime rates are up 15% across Baltusia and a staggering 56538% amongst young people in particular. It is a waste of valuable human life to continue with this absurd policy. Violence is not the answer. |
