Bill: LP-GLP-PVPL-NUP-CHP Cabinet negotiations
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberal Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 5068
Description[?]:
We are shocked to see the rise of the extremist Conservative Party, but relieved because they haven't won an absolute majority. That's why we propose a cabinet with 5 parties to stop the extremists and rule the country. These are our proposals: -No party can propose the transition towards a Republic -No party can vote in favour of proposals by the opposition. --Open homosexuality is not tolerated in the military. The military has a "don't ask, don't tell" policy. -Abortions are only allowed in medical emergencies. -Surrogacy is legal, and surrogacy agreements are enforceable. Only altruistic surrogacy is legal. -The government has no policy concerning daily working hours. -Sales tax on luxury goods.decreased to 5%. -All persons accused of serious crimes are held in jail. -The government does not actively search for illegal aliens, but puts them in integration centers when discovered. -There is a National Curriculum which all government schools are obliged to follow; non-government schools are fully exempt -The government does not maintain laws as to age limitation for purchasing video games, although it does require a content rating to be clearly displayed on the box. -Adultery is legal. -Crossdressing is allowed. Please tell us what you agree/disagree with so we can form this cabinet! |

Message | We are not extremists, but the voice of sanity. We stand for traditional Luthorian values. You propose to further lower taxes at a time of crisis, when Luthori's solvency is at threat as a result of your repeated tax cuts: for you Liberals, enough is never enough. You propose to completely eliminate the system of bargaining between employers and unions and replace it with one of unrestricted economic liberalism. You want to destroy the institution of marriage as we know it. And we, the Conservatives, are the extremists? Also your allies have repeatedly broken your own rule against voting for opposition proposals. |

Message | Dear colleagues, Yes, we propose to lower taxes because it will boost our economy and take our country out of this recession. It is not with the populist proposals of the CP or the UNWF that this country will thrive, it is the contrary. We don't want to destroy the institution of marriage but provide equal rights to each citizen. Our program is about freedom and equal rights. We believe society is constantly in motion. That's why we need to modify the law and legalise adultery. Why would we keep this unapplied and old law? The state should not tell everyone how to behave but let the individuals decide for themselves. The Conservative Party is extremist because it wants to ban everything, make everything illegal! And we will STAND UP against the TOTALITARIAN state you are trying to set up. We want freedom, not authoritarianism! As for our allies, we try to make our agreements respected. The LP always respected its commitments. Nigel Walker, MP. |

Message | And yet you raised taxes on essential goods. You do want to destroy the institution of marriage. You want to legalise adultery, and you admit it. You are destroying the institution of marriage, and equal rights has nothing to do with it. It is hilarious that the Liberals would talk about 'equal rights' when they voted against our proposal to allow women to initiate divorce proceedings against adulterous and abusive husbands. If the Liberals truly believe that the state "should not tell everyone how to behave", perhaps they should scrap the whole criminal code while they're at it. After all, it's up to individuals to decide for themselves. You and your fellow Liberals, Mr. Walker, are the extremists. |

Message | We see no reason in joining a liberal-lead right-wing cabinet again. The last coaliton of this kind hasn't worked and now we are about to adding another party? The liberal and conservative establishment of the last government were defeated, including us, and we should accept that. |

Message | A Fifth Colors Coalition led by the LP, will be too unstable to stay in power and to not collapse with the parties oppositions. Emelia Rhodes - MP |
