MessageI support this. Workers have a right to strike in relation to reasonable industrial demands.

An individuals labour is theirs to give, and on occassion where it is appropriate, it is theirs to withold. Witholding ones labour is a legitimate tactic to highlight necessary changes to work conditions. The larger the strike the greater the 'highlighting'.

The effectiveness of industrial action should be dependant on the validity of the claim, not on the size of the industry. To allow related workers to strike in support of their colleagues reasonable demands is to ensure that not only the large industries have an effective industrial tool.
