Bill: Paramilitary Ban Act 5098

Details

Submitted by[?]: Luthorian People's Rally

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 5099

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,
Only the state should have a monopoly on the use of force. Paramilitaries only serve to weaken the empire as they undermine the police and Luthorian military. Citizens under any circumstance should not have the authority or right to organise themselves as a proto-military unit and parade themselves up and down the streets of this country. We have seen what happens - looting, beatings, and riots.

We see members of the banned Brown Cross doing it day and night. It must stop, right here and now. I call upon all members of this parliament to vote aye on this bill and put an end to the Brown clothed menace.

MessageMr Speaker. We welcome RE for their embrace of one of our suggested proposals. Paramilitaries are a scourge on our beautiful nation and a threat to security. The Brown Cross will do what it can to stop this bill but we from the Conservative Party implore all MP's to gather their senses and vote in favor.
