Voting deadline: September 5101

Description[?]:

The regional cabinet and ducal Diet passed a law banning associations promoting:
-Immigration
-The climate change hoax
-Racial equality
-LGBT Rights
-Atheism

A list of 563 associations has been sent to the Internal Affairs Ministry of Erneshire, which will be responsible for closing the premises of these associations and dissolving the associations in question.
Political parties will not be banned because only the national courts can ban parties.

"These associations are enemies of the people and seek to destroy our national cohesion. We cannot accept these troublemakers in our nation.
I have therefore taken the decision to ban them from Erneshire for the good of all. " said the Minister President Matt Laing.

MessageDear Imperial Diet,

It's really a shame what was passed there. You can't simply ban fundamental rights and facts like that. You are allowed to have your own opinion and express it, including that you believe in climate change or that you are homosexual. However, The Brown Cross tries to prevent this by having their own opinion. You don't have to like something, but you have to be able to tolerate it, for the good of the community and for the good of freedom.

MessageMr. Speaker,

This new government should fight a legal battle against these discriminations.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
