Bill: Income tax proposal of September 2228
Details
Submitted by[?]: AM Radical Libertarian Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2230
Description[?]:
The AM Radical Libertarian Party propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the The Axis Mundi Republic of Likatonia. We are imposing a greater burden than necesssary on the lowest income residents of our land. I propose to reduce this burden, while maintaining a balanced budget. The money returned to the poorest sectors of our economy will be most liquid, as they are the most likely to spend the additional income, thereby boosting the economy and creating additional tax revenue. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
Random quote: “Under democracy one party always devotes its chief energies to trying to prove that the other party is unfit to rule - and both commonly succeed, and are right.” --H.L. Mencken |
