Bill: Naturalization Proliferation

Details

Submitted by[?]: Sekowan Freedom Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2230

Description[?]:

We must welcome those who come to our nation from others to experience our freedom and help make our country stronger. Our economy needs these people in fields spanning from agriculture to astrophysics. Without accepting immigrants, our labor and intelligence markets will become stagnant and our nation will be hard-pressed to compete against multicultural, melting-pot countries.

MessageThe Drake party supports this bill in spirit. We would like to know what type of things would be on this test though. Would it purely concern itself with knowledge of our people or would it contain questions on the training, profesion, and functional capacity of the taker?

MessageWe disagree. To be a true national, you should be born in this nation or born to someone born in this nation. Anyone who comes here to find a new life will always be from the nation they came from and will never be a true Sekowan.

MessageWe disagree on this narrow view of human loyalty and patriotism. Many of our proudest and most successful residents have come from foreign nations.
