| This bill proposed by the R-UDL is a law presenting a Supreme Court bill for the Holy Luthorian Empire: Item 1: If this bill passes, a Supreme Court, which is a court that has the final say on all of Luthori's legal issues. Section 2: If this bill passes, the Supreme Court of Luthori will be created. It will be composed of 13 members, all belonging to the judiciary, most of its members (7) will be appointed by the Imperial Diet, on the advice of political parties or the Government, the rest, with the exception of the President of the Court, shall be appointed by the Emperor, in the council of the Prime Minister, and the President of the Court shall be appointed by the Imperial Diet and without imperial or governmental interference. Section 3: After their appointment and on the day they take office, jurors shall swear to: "Defend the integrity of the Luthorian Judiciary by pledging political independence and taking no position against any particular political group and Defending all taken the Constitution of the Holy Empire, and may God help you". After this swearing in, they will be able to sit on the Court until the end of their days or until they resign. Clause 4: The Local Supreme Courts will be set up in all the duchies, their system of appointment will be set up differently in each duchy, but a common system of appointment will be put in place, there will be 7 members in each court, they will be appointed by the Ducal Diets, and the President of the Diet shall be appointed by the Minister-President of the Duchy. Clause 5: If a person or an organization or a court appeals a court decision, the Supreme Court will have to decide on the court decision, either approve a decision or reject it and impose another sentence. The appeal to the Court must be accepted by the Court Affairs Office or it may be denied. Section 6: The Court, being the supreme organ of Justice, can unilaterally decide to revoke laws if they are unconstitutional or harm the stability of Luthori. We are open to negociations with the other political parties in order of passing this bill. OOC : The Supreme Court existed and I don't think that there is been removed |
