MessageMr. Speaker,

Although most of this bill is abhorrent to the secular and democratic principles of our party, we support Article 2 and a more moderate form of Article 11. We will present our own bill with our proposals.

MessageMr. Speaker,

If the Michaelists want to discuss the effects of secularism on a nation, we urge them first to explain how a state founded on the teachings of a mad hermit in the desert five thousand years ago is morally or practically superior to one founded on the principles of logic and reason. Obviously, to a devout Hosian, Eliyahu is far more than a mad hermit, as our party admits, but to the quarter of the population that does not recognize His divinity, a nation founded on His teachings would not be reasonable or just, and part of democracy is being palatable to all the citizens, not just those whose faith matches ours.

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer.

Random quote: "The decadent international but individualistic capitalism in the hands of which we found ourselves after the war is not a success. It is not intelligent. It is not beautiful. It is not just. It is not virtuous. And it doesn't deliver the goods." - John Maynard Keynes
