| (This bill was proposed by the Minister of Health and Social Services Marsa Nóelsdóttir) SOme time ago, we decided that it would be better for Hutori to legalise recreational drugs. If this was the right decision, since the problem of drug addiction is one of public health and not one of criminality, we must not forget that recreational drugs are dangerous and can cause serious harm to the one who consume them. This si why the sell of drugs should not be let in anyone's hand. Often, giving the sale of recreational drugs to private company just mean giving it up to organized criminals.These people care about money and nothing else, even regulated, we do not what they might be ready to do in order to save money or make more money. This is why we must put the sale of drug up to the public secotr. |
