Bill: Political Improvement Bill (PIB)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Unity Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 5119
Description[?]:
Currently, our nation is home to 99,433,098 citizens and our current number of seats in our National Congress is 365, a calculation of 99,433,098 divided by 365 equals 272,419 with a remainder of 163, meaning that each seat in congress is, on average, speaking on behalf of 272,419 people. We propose that, to improve overall political representation, seats are added to our National Congress, we propose a number of 550 seats to enable more people a wider range of political representation in our National Congress. We also propose the construction of a new building that is able to hold such a number of people, a building that is capable of withstanding the foreseeable future of political demands that our citizens may demand of us. |
