Description[?]:
This is a role-play for each duchy to understand the upcoming ducal elections tendencies. I submit this proposal so that it can be validated Shipleyriding: Peter Gardiner (AfC), who has been minister-president since 5100 was on saw his popularity plummet during this term because he implemented an internet tax to decrease the ducal budget deficit. Many citizens are starting to turn to populist parties like the Brown Cross or the PWP because they feel they are not heard. Middenriding: Ruth Powell (AfC), also in power since 5100, is one of the most popular minister-presidents in the country, averaging around 50% of the votes in each election. Mrs. Powell is still very popular according to recent opinion polls and will probably secure re-election. Northriding: Lucy Vickers (AfC) is in power since 5100. She will probably retire and not seek re-election. Although the AfC won 4 elections in a row, minister-president races in Northriding are usually tighter than in other duchies and harder to predict. Polls predict a tight race between the BC-PWP coalition and the AfC. Erneshire: The incumbent Brown Cross government remains popular among the working class and religious people. The opposition is very divided and the AfC was discredited after the corruption scandal. Analysts predict another Brown Cross victory. Orange: The CU had won the elections with a stunning 46.36% of the votes in 5115 and Charles Baynes became Minsiter-President. The popularity of Minister-President decreased quickly due to the unpopularity of the previous cabinet of Anders Williamson at the national level, the resignation of multiple members of his cabinet and the lack of action of his ducal government. The Liberal Socialist Party is also popular among the progressive bourgeoisie in Fort Williams. |
