| Whilst the SD believe that there are certain matters including budgetry matters and international issues that should always be within the remit of the Central government, we believe that a numberof issues, where the direct effect is local, are best delat with at a local level. A Local Government has the opportunity to be a more responsive government, acting on the wishes, needs and priorities of its local constituents more readily. |
