Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker, we had it with these so called 'sympathy' strikes. The trade unions of our great Empire are taken way to much advantage of this law to pressure the businesses in to unacceptable terms. Enough is enough. Yes, the people of our Empire has the right to strike and that's a good thing and we support them therein, but it does has it limits. Therefore we propose the following; |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Secondary strike action.
Old value:: Any trade union can go on a sympathy strike in support of other striking workers.
Current: Any trade union can go on a sympathy strike in support of other striking workers.
Proposed: Secondary strike action is illegal. Workers and unions can only go on strike for their own pay and conditions.

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections. |
