MessageMy thouhgts:

Zargundia: I think it should be desert/plain like, or at least few cities lots of industry.
Deltaria: a lot of rivers and a little like florida maybe?
Kiduran: ´With a large population this region should have many cities both small and large.
Stormridge: Astoria City being the smallest of region capitals and the region being more or less like Kiduran
Muzalkaz: Maybe mountains and industry related to that, also a lot of small cities.

What do you think??

MessageStormridge could be similar to London and the South-East, i.e. Astoria City is where the majority of the population lives and works. This is surrounded by a large "green belt" and only smaller towns surround this. It allows our capital to be, if not the largest, one of the largest cities whilst still explaining why Stormridge itself is relatively unpopulated compared to the rest of the Country (though it should still be remembered that Stormridge still contains more than 10m people in the smallest region of the Country, and our whole population is only 64m).

Message"Would Hobrazia not be similar to a central african nation landscape-wise as we are on the equator. Possibly think dense jungle near the borders and large grassy plains around the coast." - The interesting thing with the way the game works is that it is unclear where the equator is, therefore Hobrazia could be like Britain if we want.

Camaero is next to the canyon from which it is named, if that helps.

MessageActually, if you look at the game map and divide it exactly in half, you'll find the equator passes through southern Malivia, with Hobrazia and Selucia being roughly the same distance from it (still really close though)...

Anyway, I looked at the work-in-progress, and it now carries the "rathersane Seal of Approval." Keep up the good work!

Wondering whether we should rename "the five fingers of Muzalkaz" to "The Lion Paw (claw) of Muzalkaz".

Is the map to confusing? or great??? :-)

MessageI'm talking about industry and lots of it. Could be mining etc, so we have a different demographics in our country, just to spice it up a little. (could be refered to the Urals or nothern Sweden).

As i have posted earlier my thoughts on the regions are:
1: Zargundia: desert/plain-like (could mention the deserts in USA).
2: Deltaria: Rivers and forrests/swamps and some holiday beaches(Florida-like)
3: Kiduran: Just crowded (the largest population) with lots of service industry and IT and not the heavy industry (there could be some naval ones).
4: Stormridge: Crowded with a little capital (Astoria City) and a lot of cities surrounding it. Lots of naval industry. (WSS!P ment it would be like London).
5:Muzalkaz: Hills and mountains, industry related to that and a lot of smaller cities.

MessageI found an inspiration in Las Vegas though my party is against gambling. Could also be Salt Lake City-like. Whether this is a center for gambling i will not decide, but in my opinion it could also be in Vialugo or Hoba Beach (monaco-like). Actually i don't mind where the major gamblin enviroment is :-) We though should decide on the major industries and economies in regions and cities (see my ideas in previous posts in this debate).

@WSS!P: I do not think i will incorporate rail networks as it would be to many lines across the nation (will maybe try in another map and let you se the work). As you all see it, now there is two types of roads. The big read lines are highways and will be marked with icons as soon as i have made them and the small red lines are ordinary roads, countryroads etc. There exist certainly other smaller roads around the country but i will not draw them as this will limit other objects :-).

There is also two types of cities. The grey ones and the white ones with circles around. large cities (region capitals and economic centres and other large cities and smaller cities respectively. Will maybe plot in a third type of city being small black dots, but are afraid that this will cause a confusion amount of city names.

You are welcome to comment on this as it will help a lot.

MessageI like the map, which programme did you use?
In regards the name, I think it was supposed to be Astoria City Underground (ACU) but that's a very very small quibble and not really important.
We (or rather you :-) ) could include a central circle line, which operates in a loop around the central important points within the City itself linking major transport links (rail lines and bus stations) and around the major city shopping precincts. It's just an idea though...

MessageI used Inkscape (free and legal). It is though moderated over a original map, but i've changed some stations and some routes. I left the background as it was to difficult to add the Astoria City shape from the Hobrazian Map.

I will take care of the underground/Metro problem, it is the easiest thing to do.

I will look into a central circle line. Which stations should be included (moving names or station markers possible)
