Bill: Capital City Act 2043

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Democratic Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2087

Description[?]:

This is basically an OOC bill as I think we should just assume that we've had a capital all along.

But anyways, I propose that the capital should be on the mainland on the coast on the border of Pernessia and Salnaeta.

Remember if you vote for this, just pretend that Bentara has been our capital all along since before we couldn't name a capital anyway - I named this bill Capital; City Act 2043 because thats when our nation started

MessageSounds good to me. We could make a very symbolic name for it like Liberty City or some such, though that doesn't have to be the case.

MessageSorry for the new title, but I think we need to draw attention to naming our capital city since it has just become possible to actually name our capital.

MessageI think we should have something which reflects our nation more...or something unique like say (EXAMPLE ONLY) Harshish Bentara...or Trojanvi...those were not serious suggestions, but I think we should have something that sounds sorta exotic....a made up name sorta along the lines of Anushmahajan Ventakonistramaestran (though not as Long LOL)

MessagePeople please... We should get this thing passed ASAP. We have been a decapitalized nation long enough. It makes our nation implausable and it looks ridiculous.
Now what do we have:

- Unionville (proposed by PPP, symbolic)
- Bentara (proposed by NDP, has a nice ring to it, kinda exotic)
- Bethville (Symbolic, named after the first real democratic leader of our country, Amy Beth)

Please, let us reach a consensus here, just for our international reputation. We can change it afterwards, but having NO capital is just... pathetic for a proud nation like Gaduridos.

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play.
