Bill: Cabinet Proposal of May 2233

Details

Submitted by[?]: Pnték Znkak Prta 'Bastardry'

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2234

Description[?]:

The Bastards acknowledge that the demise of the persistant Libertarians vacates cabinet positions which require filling. It is also safe to say that Pontesi has been quite inactive of late.

We make the following proposal with the following intents.
- The FFYRTP retain the Grand-Vizier General and shouldn't have any grounds for complaint. We look forward to continuing the great work we've done with our long-established allies.
- The ONCP only had two positions, but as the second largest party at present, this is under-representing of them. This proposal awards them a third position, and having been at the top with 96 seats on one occasion, it's about time they got another. We hope this is a suitable reward for the loyalty the ONCP have shown to the 2104 cabinet that has served us for so long, and yet that the underappreciation of the same cabinet is laid aside for continuing prosperity.
- The THEM, despite our past clashes of opinion have been left with little to do since the 2189 cabinet. We offer them the positions of Defence and Education and Culture, as with their past militias, their knowledge of Defence will benefit the Commonwealth, and with their patriotic edge should have a fair appreciation of the culture of this nation.
- The UMNO presently have no seats, but we feel that the representation of our Majatran population is tantamount to a concordant Pontesi. Hence, with the responsibility of Justice, as much as it is only one responsibility, we hope that the UNMO can ensure that the native Majatrans are fairly treated whilst keeping a level head over the majority.

What the Bastards intend to acheive through this is a cabinet of unity in which no-one who has served the cabinet for so long, who has been a long established servant to the nation since its creation, or stands for the fair representation of its often overlooked races is excluded from sitting at a table where all views can meet for the furtherment of the Dynastic Commonwealth.
