MessageWe'd of course like to go farther than this. The question is, can we get the PDP to support it?

MessageWe disagree here. Does the PC believe that everyone who hasn't a car is poor and unemployed ? If so, why is our unemployment rate very low ? Besides that, the current competition between bus- and railway companies already brings about low prices. No reason to change the current policy.

MessageIf the PDP won't support it, we'll move back further to the right. We're equally comfortable as a centrist or left of center party.

MessageOh, and to the Liberals, currently all of our prefectures excluding Murdhild are below Terran averages in unemployment.

MessageOur unemployment rate is low because capitalists control the formulas used to calculate unemployment, and so lots and lots of things are left unaccounted for. Those workers who are forced into full-time positions at part-time salaries, without access to unions, without a decent wage--those people are certainly underemployed, and that should be taken into account--also, unemployment figures never take into account those people who have given up looking for work. Unemployment figures are a capitalist lie.

MessagePC: The rates are low anyway and the Cabinet should do everything to bring it down but these measurement will backfire. By increasing the GDP share of the state the sound financial policy of the Pseudocentrists of the past can not be maintained.

CRP: A very typical reaction of communists: bad founded arguments and accusations. Looks like the CRP- attorneys at work after you accomplished your proletarian ideal state. "Betrayal of the working class, death sentence" will be the verdict of the CRP judges of course. By the way everyone can be a member of a union and before you start another round of accusations....yes, they are allowed to strike and cannot be fired by your enemy, the entrepreneurs.

MessageYes, but the idea that the labor market is completely fluid is also a capitalist lie. A worker dissatisfied with his job cannot just go "screw you, I'm going to this other company that has better benefits." Other factors such as a worker's training, educational background, geographical limitations, or just a lack of other jobs might prevent that worker from being able to get a better job.

Also, saying that all workers have the opportunity to join a union doesn't make it so. Corporations use all kinds of intimidation tactics to prevent workers from forming and joining unions. Such is the nature of capitalism. And especially in the service sector there are a lot of workers making a pittance who are basically employed as "part-time" but work 40 hours a week or more.

These facts are the cogs that make the machine of capitalism work. There is no way to "fix" them except to stop the machine and replace it with a better one.
