From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the National Space Agency Act | Message | I think that this is a step in the right direction, right now the government doesn't have any control of private space-activities and only issues permits. Under this bill, the government will actively participate in space-exploration and oversee all private activities situated in outer-space. |

From | Freedom Party | To | Debating the National Space Agency Act | Message | Undecided, we acknowledge that the private sector can be very selfish when it comes to space. Companies may want to try and bring asteroids close to mine etc. We may support this, overseeing private activities is something that is probably wise but active participation is not something we would like. |

From | Libertarian Alcoholic Par-tay | To | Debating the National Space Agency Act | Message | Oh, against definitely. Space exploration is hideousely expensive, and the Rutanian public don't deserve to have their pockets milked just so the government can look all wonderful.
Private space travel is a-ok, but a tax-funded space program is an incredible waste of money. |

From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the National Space Agency Act | Message | This is not a tax-funded space programme, it's a government agency that oversees, coordinates and contracts with private space exploration companies. |

Its employees need wages. Those wages will come from Rutanian taxpayer pockets. |

From | Humanist Socialist Party | To | Debating the National Space Agency Act | Message | Let's sort out Earth first before looking elsewhere. (And if we were going to have a space program (which we shouldn't, waste of money), we may as well have the whole shebang state-owned, rather than contracting out, which would just have the private space companies laughing all the way to the bank) |
