Bill: National Sport/Animal
Details
Submitted by[?]: Black People's Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2236
Description[?]:
I don't think a pelican should be our national animal because...well pelicans are stupid. I suggest maybe a jaguar or a horse. I dont like horses but there is a horse on our flag and maybe that should be an option. I don't think olympic grade fencing should be our sport because no everybody can play fencing. The nation should have a sport that people could start when they are little kids or if they are poor. Maybe soccer, football, basketball, or we can promote that we have the greatest fighters in Lodamun by making Boxing our national sport(boxing is off topic when it comes to kids or the poor). |

Message | i would agree with changing the national animal, but fencing seems rather unique, would prefer to keep it. |
Date | 14:21:59, May 29, 2006 CET | From | Gil's Green party | To | Debating the National Sport/Animal |
Message | Pelican or horse as national animal. The sport should be football(british, soccer is a stupid name, and football is a stupid name for the american sport because you barely use your feet to hit the ball) or remain fencing. |
Date | 23:21:23, May 29, 2006 CET | From | Conservative People's Party | To | Debating the National Sport/Animal |
Message | Lodamun has a great tradition of fencing and it is by far the most popular sport in the country, so we see no reason for changing it. We also disagree with changing the national animal. |

Message | I like the Crocodile for the animal... |
Date | 02:07:28, June 01, 2006 CET | From | Black People's Party | To | Debating the National Sport/Animal |
Message | if we do crocodile as the national animal then we have to change the flag. I still think fencing is too rich of a sport...how many minorities do you see fencing daily? Us poor folk can't be fencing when we could just pick up a ball and start a game. |
Date | 02:22:35, June 01, 2006 CET | From | Democratic Socialist Party of Lodamun | To | Debating the National Sport/Animal |
Message | Both have been Lodamunian traditions for decades if not hundreds of years. I will never support. |

Message | You don't need much to start fencing for fun as can clearly be seen on a walk over the 'other side of the railway tracks' . Kids are participating in fencing in proper (but somewhat old) gear at youth centres. Perhaps the Black People's Party should get out amongst it's constituents. I see no reason to change long standing traditions for the sack of "Political Correctness". I think the best way to resolve the problem of poverty is to redistribute the wealth of this country to remove child poverty. |
