Mr Speaker, We propose following amendments |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The nation's defence industry.
Old value:: Defence industries are privately owned but subsidised by the state.
Current: Defence industries are privately owned but subsidised by the state.
Proposed: The state owns national defence industries but these exist alongside privately owned defence industries.
Article 2
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy towards the use of land mines by the army.
Old value:: The use of land mines is allowed.
Current: The use of land mines is prohibited.
Proposed: The Government leaves this to the army to decide upon.
Article 3
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning the export of weapons to other nations.
Old value:: The government allows all arms to be exported freely.
Current: The government must approve all arms sales on a case by case basis.
Proposed: The government allows conventional arms to be exported freely.
