Bill: RP: AEL Party Conference ousts Far-right, along with major shifts

Details

Submitted by[?]: Luthorian Democrats 🔵

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 5141

Description[?]:

After 3 years of cooperation with the PB & CR, delegates turning up to the party's 2nd conference, have shunned those ideals after a heated discussion of bills proposed by the PB & LCP.

Leader's ballot:
P. Singh(CR): 9 votes (Elected)
A. Knight(FR): 5 votes (Incumbent, Defeated)

Singh is expected to be the first minority ethnic(Rajutti) leader of a Luthorian Party in the 52nd century.

There have been leadership changes in the regions:
Orange: Dennis Foster(CR)
Erneshire: Elis Church(AGR)

Other changes:
*The party is now the "Common Sense Civic Union"(CSCU)
*There is a cordon sanitaire with the PB & CR - all existing agreements have been terminated.
*Abolition of the anti-establishment platform- candidates can still run on it.
*Adoption of a secular platform, separating Church and state
*In a surprising turn of events, supporting LGBTQ+ rights - the party will still hold neoliberal and socially conservative views on other issues, along with its nationalistic views.

It seems guests have already given a response to their former allies, handing out leaflets saying "**** THE PB".
