| Opposition leader Estas Gallagher, a young but experienced MP of 35, spoke today before the Imperial Diet during a session of Questions to the Prime Minister, denouncing I quote "a fall in prestige international of Luthori before the international scene, with the arrival of this extreme right-wing, racist and segregationist government, his election only amplified the schism between the left and the right, and that moreover with a very low electoral participation, this government will have to count on a real opposition coming from our ranks, we, as the only progressive opposition to this cabinet, have the duty to challenge this fascist government. The Leader of the Opposition then posed three questions to the Prime Minister, and I quote them: "How are you, Mr. Prime Minister, and your cabinet going to restore the confidence of the international community? How are you going to combat the economic crisis and Finally, how are you going to fight the political crisis and restore the people's confidence in the political class? This speech having been applauded by the members of the Diet of the opposition, but booed by the members belonging to the government. |

| Message | Dear colleagues, Mister Gallagher, I believe you are insulting millions of Luthorians, by us calling extremists or fascists. Because millions of people voted for us and supported the revolutionary nationalist movement that is the Patriotic Bloc. Now, concerning your first question, I am not surprised by what you are saying. The left tried to strip the Luthorian people of their national pride for years. And now, we hear from the opposition that the government of the Luthorian people needs to be validated or approved by the international community? As a proud Luthorian I will bow to no one and it should be the same for the members of my cabinet. We can of course have partners and good relations with other nations, but if there is indeed an international Metzist plot to take our country down, then we shall fight it with all our might and strength. Concerning the economic crisis, my cabinet is working hard to improve the standards of living of all hard-working Luthorians. That is why this government removed useless regulations on industry, decreased useless funding for subnational governments, removed socialist regulations concerning working hours and and will gradually disengage the state from the economy so that it can prosper. The economy is a machine and in order to get it going again, we need to reduce the weight of the state in order to reduce our debt and increase our competitiveness. Finally, there is no political crisis in this country because we have a stable, three-parties government that has a 168 seats majority in this parliament. We gained the confidence of the Luthorian people in 5142, but we do not take it for granted. We understand the harships that our compatriots are facing. My cabinet is and will remain close to the little people that have been stepped on by a corrupt political establishment for decades. We will work tirelessly to improve the economic situation and build a state based on Hosian values, on national values and with an important place for the family unit. Hosianism is the way for Luthori. We need to spread the teachings of God to our children. Our model is the cabinet of Mrs. Straughan in Erneshire. Politicians close to the people that respond to their needs. Thank you. The speech was applauded by the government majority. |
