| The former Foreign Affairs Minister is candidate for Governor-General. She claims her candidacy is a referendum on the Republic. Davies also wants to increase minimum wage by 50%, decrease retirement age to 60 years old and increase taxes on "superprofits" and "billionaires". She is also a strong promoter of LGBT rights, wants to subsidise contraception and legalise same-sex marriage. She claims Luthori needs radical changes to solve the political crisis and instability. In power, Davies would disarm right-wing paramilitary group and extremists monarchist parties and use the full power of the police to stop "fascist organisations". She believes the momentum is on her side and that she will be qualified for the second round of the election. Her social media page already reached 5 million "likes". According to a recent poll, she would get 14% of the votes and 24% of the youth vote. Davies claims the figures are much higher and the polls are wrong. |
