(Solidarity Year) -Adultery is legal. -There are government-run shelters, but these coexist with privately run shelters. -Private companies are responsible for disposing of their own waste. The government disposes of residential waste. -The government enforces high animal welfare standards. -Judges/Magistrates are elected by the public. -Criminals released from jail are allowed to vote. -The government offers free contraceptives in pharmacies and public toilets. (LEFT) -The state subsidizes the phone service of low income families, and regulates the rates providers can charge for phone service.
